Achievement of a Student of the Faculty of Economics at the 18th StES Student Scientific Conference
At this year’s 18th Student Scientific Conference StES, our student Dunja Babić achieved remarkable success by winning first place in the category of social sciences. Competing among 26 participants and 22 papers, her research titled “Logistical Challenges in the Distribution Sector of Oil Derivatives and Optimization Opportunities through Quantitative Methods” received the highest score in the category.
The Faculty of Economics of the University of Banja Luka was represented by five students, all of whom received excellent feedback from the expert committee composed of Prof. Dr. Ognjen Erić, Prof. Dr. Nina Sajić, Prof. Dr. Mirjana Miškić, and Prof. Dr. Bojan Baškot. Dunja’s accomplishment highlights both her dedication and the strong support the Faculty provides in developing students’ research competencies.
We congratulate Dunja Babić and wish her continued success in her academic and professional journey.

Call for Application for Erasmus+ Scholarships 2025/26_ University of Applied Sciences Burgenland, Austria
University of Applied Sciences Burgenland, Austria opened call for nomination for students across Erasmus+ exchange program for the upcoming summer term 2025/2026.
Deadline for nomination is 13 October 2025. Students should contact Academic coordinator for international cooperation prof. dr Tajana Serdar Raković and send the application to email: tajana.serdar-rakovic@ef.unibl.org.
The application should include:
- Name and surname of student,
- Date of birth and gender;
- Program of study, level of study and year of study;
- Email;
- Knowledge of English (indicate A1 - C2).
Nomination is done by academic coordinator for international cooperation, not personally by students. After nomination, student(s) will receive a welcome email informing them about the application process. The deadline for submission of their application and required documents (Personal data and documents) is November 15, 2025. The deadline for submitting the Learning Agreement is December 15, 2025.

Japanese Government (MEXT) Scholarship for the year 2025
The Embassy of Japan in BiH has opened a call for applications for Japanese Government (MEXT) Scholarship for the year 2025, for students who have a desire or interest to study in Japan. Application documents must arrive at the Embassy by May 24, 2024. The scholarship covers tuition fees, return air tickets, and students also receive a monthly allowance.

Open a call for applications for Japanese Government (MEXT) Scholarship for the year 2024
The Embassy of Japan in BiH has opened a call for applications for Japanese Government (MEXT) Scholarship for the year 2024, for students who have a desire or interest to study in Japan. Three types of study programmes are included: postgraduate research studies (MA, PhD or without a diploma), undergraduate studies (baccalaureate) and college of technology (technological expert and/or baccalaureate). The scholarship covers tuition fees, return air tickets, and students also receive a monthly allowance.
Application documents must arrive at the Embassy by May 26, 2023, by post or direct delivery. Students who are interested in applying can find more information about the required application documents and the application process on the embassy's website (LINK: https://www.bosnia.emb-japan.go.jp/itpr_bs/MEXT_2023_en.html ).
An informative briefing about the MEXT scholarship with the presence of former scholarship students will be held on April 28 and May 10. These briefings will be shared via ZOOM meeting as well. Fellowships for young researchers, creatives and innovators at the Creative Impact Research Center Europe
With the fellowship program, CIRCE wants to bring together young researchers and creatives from all over Europe in order to highlight, question and reshape the innovative power of the creative economies through a wide range of voices and perspectives. Based on the potentials of the cultural and creative economies, the fellows explore and test new ways and creative solutions for dealing with the challenges of our time.
A total of 40 fellowships will be awarded for a period of six months. The fellows get a monthly grant of 3,800 euros as well as support by a mentor from CIRCE.
Pre-registration is required until February 28th, 2023.
The application phases for both the fellowships and the fund start on March 1, 2023.

Call for Rondine Cittadella della Pace Scholarship 2023-2025
Rondine Cittadella della Pace opens the call for participants for the 2023-2025 World House program, a unique experience for young change-makers in Italy (fully funded scholarship).
Rondine is an NGO committed to promoting education, social change, and peacebuilding. It works with international youth, mainly from conflict and post-conflict areas (Middle East, Balkans, Caucasus, Eastern Europe, Sub-Saharan Africa, and South America), and has developed an original training program and Method for conflict transformation.
Welcomed are applicants aged 21-28, holding a Bachelor's degree (or earned by July 2023), and engaged in civil society. Selected participants will spend two years in a challenging international environment, working on conflict transformation, community engagement, and social project design, combining innovative education with a master in Italian universities.

Be part of Germany's largest international student conference
With 10 days of lectures, discussions, and workshops around the topic of Information, Knowledge, and Data, it is Germany's largest international student conference. Our goal is to promote cultural exchange with participants from around the world and seek possible solutions to pressing global issues. Over 370 participants from more than 70 different countries took part in the last in-person ISWI in 2019, the online version in 2021 had about 200 active participants with up to 500 for some events.
ISWI 2023b> will take place from June 2nd to 11th, 2023.
