Choose your mentor!
We are launching a student mentoring system: a mentor is a senior-year student who helps younger-year students navigate the Faculty more easily and organize their studies more successfully. Students choose a mentor as follows: first-year students choose a second-year mentor, second-year students choose a third-year mentor, and so on.
Experience from other universities shows that students involved in mentoring systems achieve higher academic success and report greater satisfaction during their studies, with a lower risk of dropping out.
Places are limited, so a place is secured on a first-come, first-served basis. Students who are mentors have priority when choosing their own mentor. The deadline to choose a mentor is 09 February 2026 (by midnight). The mentor is selected via this form.
This activity is implemented through the Electronic Business Laboratory of the Faculty of Economics and has been recognized by the Across Alliance under task T1.3 (strengthening the soft, digital, and entrepreneurial skills of students, academic staff, and administrative staff).

We are pleased to announce that applications for the Mentoring (Buddy) at the Faculty of Economics are now open. Second-, third- and fourth-year students, as well as absolvent students, may apply to become mentors to up to five junior colleagues.
Our goal is to enhance the student experience during studies, improve academic success and reduce the number of students who discontinue their studies. The Mentoring system is the first of several activities we are introducing this year in that direction. The next step will be the development of an artificial intelligence model that will support these goals.
Students can apply via the link Become a mentor. The selection process will be carried out after the application period, and the list of mentors is going to be published. In the next phase, students of the Faculty of Economics will be able to apply and be assigned a mentor for the summer semester of the 2025/26 academic year.
Participation is entirely voluntary, and it is possible to withdraw from the Mentoring at any time by completing this short form. More information is available in the application form at the link above.
These activities are supported by the Electronic Business Laboratory of the Faculty of Economics and the Across Alliance (through T1.3, which focuses on strengthening the soft, digital, and entrepreneurial skills of students, academic staff, and administrative staff).
