Intercultural training for exchange students in Germany
As part of the research project of Johann Gutenberg University in Mainz (Germany), intercultural training is being implemented with the aim of pre-preparing students for exchange in Germany. The training takes the form of questions relating to situations that students may encounter in daily life in Germany. "FAIRNETZEN" scholarships for students of the University of Banja Luka
The University of Applied Sciences from Essen (Germany), together with the FAIRNETZEN Foundation, will award 50 scholarships of 200 euros each for the calendar year 2020, to students of the 1st and 2nd cycle studies of all faculties of the University of Banja Luka, except students who had already been beneficiaries of the scholarship "WELT DER WUNDER" or "FAIRNETZEN".
Interested students should submit an application and supporting documentation to prove the facts in the application.
The application, which is in English and which can be downloaded here, must be be accompanied with:
- a short biography in English, in which it is especially important to describe in detail the social status of the student;
- photography;
- evidence of the student's stated social status (social need) (e.g. pension check, medical records of the parent's or student's illness, proof of parental or student disability, parental unemployment certificate, proof that the student is a child without one or both parents), confirmation of the Center for Social Work on the use of social assistance, etc.);
- proof of student success (certificate of average grade in previous studies);
- instruction of the bank for payment of the scholarship to the account in convertible marks (number of the account for payments in local currency).

European Regional Master Program in the field of Democracy and Human Rights - 2019/2020
A competition for the European Regional Master Program in the field of Democracy and Human Rights has been opened. The program is a joint initiative of the University of Sarajevo and the University of Bologna, in cooperation with partner institutions, one of which is the University of Banja Luka. The program is co-financed by the EU and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Italy and is supported by the Embassy of the Republic of Italy in BiH.
By completing the program students earn 60 ECTS and double diplomas from both universities. There are 25 scholarships for students from Southeast Europe. The deadline for applications is 13 September 2019.

Summer School: "Migration and Mobility in the Balkans" - Ancona, Italy
UniAdrion Network and Marche Polytechnic University organize the Summer School on the topic "Migration and Mobility in the Balkans", which will be held in Ancona, Italy, from 9-13 September 2019. Fee for participation, accommodation and food costs is borne by the Marche Polytechnic University, while travel costs are borne by the participants themselves. The program is intended for students of the second and third cycle studies, researchers and officials who work in the field of migrations.

Workshop "Writing to Publish" for students of the second and third cycle studies
Within the Erasmus+ exchange between the Faculty of Philology of the University of Banja Luka and the Institute for English Studies of the University of Opole (Poland), Professor Katarzyna Molek-Kozakowska will hold a guest lecture at the Faculty of Philology. Professor Molek-Kozakovska will hold a workshop titled Writing to Publish for students of the second and third cycle studies of the University of Banja Luka, as well as for other interested parties. The workshop will be held on Tuesday, 18 June 2019 in Classroom 4, at the Faculty of Philology, starting at 10.00 am.

Scholarships for Postdoctoral Studies at the University of Kragujevac
The University of Kragujevac grants one scholarship in the amount of 1000 Euros per month, for postdoctoral improvement that will be realized in the period from 1-3 months, during the school year 2019/2020.
Scholarships are awarded to a candidate (not older than 40 years) who is employed at a foreign university and who has received his/her PhD degree in the fields that are being lectured at the University of Kragujevac, as follows: A. natural-mathematical sciences, B. medical sciences, В. technical and technological sciences, G. socio-humanistic sciences and D. art.
The deadline for submitting the application is 20 June 2019.

CALL FOR APPLICATIONS - DOCTORAL CANDIDATES: 2 DAAD GSSP Scholarships
DAAD scholarships for international candidates are available for four years. We welcome applications from graduates aiming to write their doctoral thesis at the Bamberg Graduate School of Social Sciences. A scholarship will enable you to develop an excellent research proposal and submit it to appropriate funding bodies. The school supports scholarship holders through personal mentoring, workshops and support services. The scholarships are available from April 1st, 2020. Competition for summer schools of the University of Lobachevsky from Nizhny Novgorod, Russia
Nizhny Novgorod State University N.I. Lobachevsky, Russia, offers students of the University of Banja Luka the opportunity to participate in four summer schools that will be held in July-August 2019 in Nizhny Novgorod. Two scholarships for each summer school are available and the scholarship includes participation fee. The costs of transportation, accommodation and food are borne by the students themselves.

Deutsche Gesellschaft e.V. - Summer school in Berlin
Deutsche Gesellschaft e.V. organizes a summer school on the topic "Gemeinsames Erbe. Die gegenwärtige Rezeption des deutschen Kulturerbes im östlichen Europa - Common Heritage. Current perception of German cultural heritage in Eastern Europe". Applications are open to students in all fields.
The summer school will be held from 25 to 31 August 2019 in Berlin, and the application form must be submitted to the following email address (evelyna.schmidt@deutsche-gesellschaft-ev.de) by 30 June 2019. Knowledge of German is required at a minimum B2 level. Travel and accommodation costs will be borne by the organizers.
